How to Care for 100% Organic Cotton Rib
Cotton rib fabric is slightly more flexible and textured than regular cotton, so proper care ensures it maintains its stretch and form.
Washing:
- Wash in cold water on a gentle cycle to avoid shrinking.
- Use a mild detergent. Avoid bleach, which can weaken fibers.
- Turn the garment inside out to prevent pilling and protect the rib texture.
Drying:
- Lay flat to dry or tumble dry on low heat. High heat can cause shrinkage and damage the ribbed texture.
- Remove promptly from the dryer to avoid creases.
- You can iron on low heat if needed, but stretch garments should not be over-ironed to avoid flattening the rib.
