How to Care for 100% Organic Cotton
Organic cotton is a durable fabric, but it still benefits from gentler care to maintain its softness and color.
Washing:
- Machine wash in cold or warm water (not hot, to avoid shrinking).
- Use a mild detergent without bleach to prevent weakening the fibers.
- Turn inside out to protect the colors and prevent wear on the fabric's surface.
- Choose a gentle cycle to minimize wear.
Drying:
- Tumble dry on low heat, or even better, air-dry.
- Remove from the dryer while slightly damp to avoid stiffness and shrinkage, then reshape and air-dry.
- Iron if necessary on a low to medium heat setting.
